At %1 Kişisel Gelişim we take your privacy seriously. This policy clearly explains what data we collect when you use our app, how we use it, and your rights. By using the app you agree to this policy.
1. Data We Collect
%1 Kişisel Gelişim collects the following data to provide and improve your personal-development experience:

Important: No email or password is required to use the app. An anonymous account is created by default. You may optionally use Sign in with Apple to keep your progress across devices.
Companion (Yoldaş) feature
If you choose to bond with another user as a companion, the following data becomes visible to them:
- Your current streak (in days) and active habit count
- Your daily completion ratio (e.g. 4/5 completed today)
- Optionally, your habit names — disabled by default; you can opt-in from the companion detail screen
- Optionally, a short 140-character status message that you write
You can remove the bond at any time from Profile → Companion → Remove bond. After removal, neither party can form a new bond for 7 days. Blocking a user immediately severs the bond and prevents future bonding attempts. You can report any user for inappropriate behavior; reports are reviewed by our content team within 24 hours and never shared with the reported user.
2. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored on our secure servers (Firebase Firestore, default region europe-west1) and cached on your device:
- All communication is encrypted with TLS (HTTPS)
- Firestore access is restricted by per-user security rules — only you can read or write your data
- API keys (Anthropic, etc.) live only on our servers, never in the app package
- Your data is never sold for advertising or shared with third parties for marketing
Account deletion: Profile → Delete my account permanently deletes all server data and your account.
3. Third-Party Services
%1 Kişisel Gelişim uses the following services. Each has its own privacy policy:
- Apple App Store: App distribution and payments. (Apple Privacy Policy)
- RevenueCat: Subscription management; processes only anonymous subscription status data. (RevenueCat Privacy Policy)
- Firebase (Google): Authentication, database and cloud functions. (Google Privacy Policy)
- Anthropic (Claude): AI coach and roadmap generation; only your message and short context are sent per request. (Anthropic Privacy Policy)
- Expo (EAS): App update infrastructure. (Expo Privacy Policy)
4. Cookies and Tracking
The %1 Kişisel Gelişim app:
- Does not use cookies
- Does not collect advertising identifiers (IDFA)
- Does not perform behavioral ad profiling
- Does not use third-party ad networks
Anonymous product analytics (which screens are opened, which features are used) are recorded only to improve the app; we never attach your name, email or message content.
5. Children's Privacy
%1 Kişisel Gelişim is designed for users aged 13 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Parents or guardians who believe a child has shared personal information may contact us at canonder96@gmail.com.
6. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access your data
- Correct your profile and preference information in the app
- Delete all your data via Profile → Delete my account
- Object to data processing
7. GDPR / KVKK
We act as a data controller under applicable privacy laws including Turkey's KVKK (Law No. 6698). Your personal data is processed for the purposes stated above and is not shared with third parties without your explicit consent.

8. Subscriptions and Payments
Premium subscription payments are processed through the Apple App Store. %1 Kişisel Gelişim does not collect or store credit card numbers, bank account details or any financial information. All payments are handled by Apple's secure infrastructure.
9. Policy Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date on this page. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy.
